Since my early twenties I’ve been living in London, eating cheese, drinking wine & planning my next adventure. However, previous to this I grew up in the beautiful countryside of Devon.
I moved to London to work in the crazy world of Television, starting as a Runner on the very first series of Strictly Come Dancing back in 2004. Since then I’ve gone on to work on various shows, with highlights being the iconic family favourite, Catchphrase and more recently (a change of scene) working in the fascinating genre of true crime with the makers of Netflix’s I Am A Killer.
Working as a freelancer in TV can be very unsettling as you jump from contract to contract, however those times of ‘f’unemployment’ gave me so many opportunities to travel
I’ve put this blog together to document all the amazing places I’ve been fortunate to visit. Sometimes with friends, sometimes by myself and more recently with my husband.
So often I see people asking for recommendations and I have to rack my brain to try and remember the name of the amazing restaurant I went to, the hotel where I stayed or the local train company I used etc.
So here it is, all in one place!
Hopefully you enjoy reading about my adventures and I hope it inspires people to broaden their horizons and get out there and see the world!
